The Drowning World Tarot + Guidebook “Le Tarot du Monde Perdu”
The Drowning World Tarot is a work created in the garden, with great care and affection, and an explosion of life and death that offers an honest view of the human being within nature. Inspired by the Tarot de Marseille, its illustrations were created in the artists’ gardens in Ghent (New York) and Morlaix (Brittany). The deck is printed on high-quality card stock in an oversized 15 × 8 cm format, made to endure over time.
The set also includes Le Tarot du Monde Perdu: A Guidebook to the Drowning World Tarot, a 288-page book that invites readers to explore the mysteries of the deck and its philosophical layers. Written by author and researcher Sarah Falkner, it offers a deep insight into the ideas that shaped the project.
A great artistic duo with great stories: Nicholas Kahn and Richard Selesnick, both born in 1964, work with photography, installations, fictional anthropology and deliberately absurd historical reconstructions, always with a strong documentary style.
Their narrative knows no boundaries and unfolds across many different media. They have taken part in over 100 exhibitions worldwide, and their works are included in more than 30 museum collections, including the MFA Boston, the Brooklyn Museum, LACMA and the Smithsonian Institution.
Cards and guidebook in English.

Arcana Barcelona es un lugar donde el tarot y el arte se encuentran con calma.
Cada baraja, cada libro y cada objeto han sido elegidos por la historia que cuentan y la intención con la que fueron creados.
