Something that is born, that bursts into full vitality. The beginning of a story, the blooming of a flower. The Efflorescent Tarot is a deck that reinterprets the Rider Waite Smith tarot and fully expresses the delicate hand of its creator, Peony Coin Archer.
A carefully crafted, high-quality piece, with 9 × 12.8 cm cards printed on 350 g/m² art paper, finished with gold foil details and glossy UV varnish. The box also includes a small 78-page companion booklet written by Olivia Pepper.
A longtime illustrator of picture books, Peony Coin Archer is a creator with a broad practice. She has produced two tarot decks, as well as numerous works devoted to gemmology and mineralogy.
Nature plays a central role in her work and is approached in an almost scientific way, always accompanied by a subtle fairytale quality, recognisable at first glance. She currently lives in New Mexico, surrounded by her cats and plants, where listening and focus are essential.
