Drawn entirely in pen and ink, and inspired by the work of Edward Gorey, The Winding Tarot is an invitation to move gently, even when the path ahead is not yet clear. Three Trees Tarot hides two minds, two hearts. On one side, Adam Oehlers, an illustrator based in Norwich whose work has been exhibited from Australia to the United States. His inspiration draws from the classic illustration of Arthur Rackham and Edward Gorey, from pen-and-ink and print-based traditions. Old stories and fairy tales feed and fascinate him, shaping that soft dreamlike world where he works, silently, at the edges of everything. On the other, Stephanie Burrows, a tarot scholar and creator whose passion was sparked while rummaging through a box of her mother's craft supplies, with The Fantod Pack by Edward Gorey tucked inside. Its dark humour had her hooked at once. Today, she and Adam take you by the hand and lead you to places just as unforgettable.
