Tarot of the Drowning World is a powerful expression of life and death, an honest look at the human being within nature.

This small treasure, inspired by the Tarot de Marseille and illustrated in the artists’ gardens in Ghent (New York) and Morlaix (Brittany), is a work that is both delicate and solid, in its artistic vision and in its making. Printed on high-quality card stock, in an oversized format of 15 × 8 cm, it is made to endure over time.

Each card is a work of art in itself, worthy of being displayed.

A great artistic duo with great stories: Nicholas Kahn and Richard Selesnick, both born in 1964, work with photography, installations, fictional anthropology and deliberately absurd historical reconstructions, always with a strong documentary style.

Their narrative knows no boundaries and unfolds across many different media. They have taken part in over 100 exhibitions worldwide, and their works are included in more than 30 museum collections, including the MFA Boston, the Brooklyn Museum, LACMA and the Smithsonian Institution.
